This Xpression mark 3 features an improved, carbon-fibre tonearm, superior isolation feet (rubber-damped, with aluminium spike cones for improved vibration damping) and is supplied complete with a factory-fitted and aligned "Ortofon 2M Red" cartridge, for the best sound and easy set-up

The Project Xpression III is fitted with a quiet running AC motor with a two-step metal pulley which drives the hub and platter via a flat ground belt and the Xpression's platter's low tolerance chrome-plated stainless steel axle runs on a polished ball bearing in a brass bearing housing.

The design of the new Project Xpression III also offers proper phono sockets. Connection to the phono input of the amplifier can be made with the connecting cables of your taste through the Pro-ject Xpression III's gold plated phono sockets and earth screw, though a standard one is provided. All this is finished in a lovely, gloss lacquered piano finish which, with the new, performance-enhancing acrylic platter, looks luscious.
