At the swimming pool or at home on the patio, this small radio with practical carrying handle will play music in amazing quality from favorite AM or FM radio stations.

The R-5 gets power from the built in, rechargeable batteries or from the supplied AC power adapter which also charges the batteries when connected to the mains. Just twist the dial of the radio to tune in the desired station, which can be stored in one of the presets. Several hours* of playing time is possible from fully charged batteries and an LED light indicates when the battery power is getting low and recharging of the R-5 is needed.

This classic model comes complete with retractable antenna, headphone jack and a separate AUX input for connecting a mobile audio player when desired. The LC display can be dimmed and sleeptimer and wake-up function make the R-5 the ideal radio for your sleeping room. Available colors are black, white and red.
